This privacy policy refers solely to the website explora.cam.

Definitions

GDPR : General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC)

A. Server log files

For statistics and preventention of abusive traffic, the following data is stored, processed and analyzed on our servers:

  1. Your anonymized ip address. The last 8 (in case of IPv4) resp. 80 (in case of IPv6) bits of the adress are automatically removed (e.g. 8.8.8.8 becomes 8.8.8.x).
  2. The time at which the page was accessed.
  3. The data accessed (e.g. which page in particular), including the size of transferred data.
  4. Whether the data access has been successful or not (HTTP status code).
  5. Your browser's version and possibly your device's model (user agent).

Data stored under 1. is deleted after two (2) weeks automatically.

Legal basis for data processing is article 5 1. f) GDPR.

B. Contact form/Mail contact

If you contact us by mail or contact form, we - of course - process and store the personal data you sent us. This might be, for example your mail adress and your name (if given).

These data is deleted latest after six (6) weeks, or after solving your matter.

Non-personal data (e.g. error descriptions) might be stored and processed for a longer time. In this case, however, the data cannot be associated with you anymore.

If you use the contact form, please read the next section C for information regarding our captcha service HCaptcha.

C. HCaptcha

To prevent spam and misuse of our contact form, we use the captcha service HCaptcha.

HCaptcha is operated by Intuition Machines, Inc. ("IMI"), 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110. The privacy policy of HCaptcha can be found here.

To realize the captcha service, IMI uses cookies and other client-side storage technology (e.g. LocalStorage).

Legal basis for data processing is article 5 1. f) GDPR.

D. Further information

According to articles 15 and following of the GDPR you have rights regarding correction and deletion of your personal data. Furthermore you have rights regarding the restriction of processing your personal data. You have a right of objection regarding processing of your personal data and you have a right of data portability regarding your personal data.

Contact the responsible persons to exercise your rights.

According to article 77 GDRP you have a right for complaint at the appropriate data protection regulator.
